Jehovah-Jireh or Yahweh-yireh means my God will provide my needs. According to book of Genesis Jehova Jireh was first used by Abraham at a place in the land of Moriah where he was about to sacrifice Issac. There as we all know Abraham was about to offer his son as a burnt offering and God stops him. Abraham named the place as Jehovahjireh after the LORD provided a ram to sacrifice in place of Isaac.

"And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen." – Genesis 22:14 (KJV)

So are you running out of provisions in your life, then trust in the Lord who provides like he provided for Abraham. In Bible we have seen various incidents where God provides for his people like he provided manna for Israelites, He provides meat and food for Elijah, He provides food for a Widow through Elijah, He provides oil for a Widow, if we keep on listing the provisions of God this page won't be sufficient.

Now in our daily lives we too are in need of many things like our basic necessities food cloth and shelter. Though we are devoid of these things God is there to provide us everything we are in need of. So below is a list of some scriptures which will help you to meditate, grab the promise of the Lord and get what you need to get from God.
