King David was a shepherd, soldier, prophet, psalmist, worshiper, priest, minister, King etc He played the roles of many people and most humble King who says I shall not be moved by my prosperity. He is referred to as Man after God's own heart. God loved him so much that the kingdom of Israel had its largest area at the time of his reign. God says to Samuel I don't see the outer appearance of a Man but I see his heart and tells Samuel to anoint David as the King of Israel.
