Wiseman Daniel had spoken on “The power of the Word” to the massive congregation in SCOAN during March, 2012. He said that they have gathered to get close to God through His word and His Spirit. God's word is Spirit and life. It grew in the mind of the people and gained supremacy over them. When the Word of God grows in your mind and gains supremacy over you, you have nothing else but to say the Word. It is not the amount of prayer you pray that counts but the faith which you put into your prayer that really counts. Because faith requires us to speak the Word before feel or see the results. Therefore the word you speak determines the life you enjoy. Therefore the word you speak create the blessing or the curse that comes your way in life, and the Word is always now.
One thing is true His Word is not in the book or on the written page but in the lips of the believer. Matthew 8:13 says "Then Jesus said to the centurion, 'Go your way: and as you have believed,so let it be done for you.' And his servant was healed that same hour. This shows that the Word of God in Jesus lips prevailed over sickness and diseases by faith. Faith comes when the Word prevails over the thinking processes. In other words, faith simply defined in the word prevailing over the thinking processes.
When the word we speak prevails over sickness, disease or demons, it means that those words have power and authority to change situations, because Holy Spirit supplies the inspiration. Remember it is God's power working through His Word and His Spirit that brings healing, deliverance and all of God's blessings. That is the power of the spoken Word. It is much about listening as it is about speaking. The Word of God becomes part of one by meditation because meditation in God's Word is a visit with Him. The Word grew in us into our blood.
