In Over my head is a beautiful song sung by Jenn Johnson for Bethel Music's Album We will not be shaken. According to their website, We Will Not Be Shaken was filmed on a mountaintop overlooking Shasta Lake in Northern California. The Bethel Music community gathered for an unforgettable evening of worship. The resulting live album and film portrays breathtaking visuals and resounds with declarations, hope and faith. There are 11 new songs led by Bethel Music’s artist collective, including several debut artists.

But if you’re not in time to take advantage of the free showing, you can listen to one of my newest favorite songs below. I particularly like Jenn Johnson’s song, In Over My Head, because it describes my worship with the Lover of my soul to a tee.

  1. The first time that I heard this awesome worship song, I was taken back to Bayshore Assembly of God Church and a Word from the Lord that was spoken over me and this was also in the early 80's. The Word to me was telling me that this Minister saw me at the Shore of a body of water and at first I was in the water up to just my toes, then up to my knees, my waist and then I was in over my head. I really mostly forgot about this happening until I heard Jenn sing, I'm in over my head " I was in my middle 30's when I got the Word from the Lord and now, I am 76 and I am praying all of the time to go back to that place, as Jenn also sang, where my heart is only about Him because I believe that when we are distracted and our hearts are feeling divided, getting to that place is impossible 💔. I want to go back to the place where my heart was only about You, Lord, Please help me because without You, I can't do it 💔 Thank you for this beautiful Worship song and for the beautiful memory, Carol
