JJ Heller has released a new music video for her song "This Year," from her most recent album Sound of A Living Heart. Filmed by David Heller in four states over the course of four months. Describing the video, which walks through scenes from a variety of seasons, JJ shared on social media "Confetti canons, swings and sparklers. The new songs are a reflection of Heller's personal journey over the last few years. According to Heller, "Rather than living trying to shield myself from pain, I want to choose to be adventurous, take risks, and tell a better story with my life." She goes on to say of the song-writing process, "I went through a season a few years ago where I experienced a lot of suffering. Not only did that time inform the songs on this record, but I think it also helped me discover more about being whole than if those painful experiences has never happened."This year
